Hi, I’m Jaimie Eckert.
If you’re looking for passion and purpose, you’ve come to the right place. I’m here to coach you through the process of creating a vibrant, meaningful life.
Don’t listen to the naysayers and nihilists. Life isn’t pointless. You aren’t pointless.
I’ve been living abroad since 2013. I’ve seen life in some of its most desperate, shattered forms — the refugees, the poverty-stricken, the oppressed minorities…
But I’ve also seen that wondrous, extraordinary urge to seek meaning within chaos. To keep striving, fueled by desperation and unlikely hope.
And I’ve seen beauty arise.
That’s part of what motivated me to pursue my PhD in Religion, specifically in Intercultural Studies (at any given moment these days, you’ll find me sorting through a stack of assignments). I wanted to understand the human capacity for feeling meaning and purpose. I wanted to find out why we’re so desperate to have a sense of passion in daily life. But most importantly, I wanted to uncover the how.
Whether you’ve been searching for meaning in life since your teenage years or are just finding yourself in a midlife (or quarter-life) crisis, I can help. Let me guide you systematically through the process of finding your passion and purpose. Let’s do this together.
I’d like to invite you to sign up for a very non-spammy newsletter so I can keep you updated as I publish my latest work. I’m not the kind of blogger to give cliché tips, tricks, and hacks that I’ve copied from other blogs. Based on the research skills I’ve learned in grad school, I’m drilling deep and giving you unique and well-curated content you won’t find anywhere else. I’m taking the best research of psychology, sociology, education, and philosophy and helping you use it to craft your best and most meaningful life.
So go ahead, sign up, and I’ll see you around the blog.
